We honor this Earth Day with a reflection on how capable the Earth is to naturally regenerate and heal herself, absent of interference from us. We also consider the possibilities of allowing our own internal spiritual soil to naturally regenerate if we give it enough space, time and a little sunlight.

Beth, thank you so much for your Earth Day blog post about natural regeneration......allowing in ourselves fallow spiritual practices, not always creating lists and agendas and driving ourselves for spiritual growth. The story of that land where you have allowed it to grow on its own terms for 15 years is very helpful. I felt a calm when I finished listening to you that had escaped me this special day.
