Woven Branches Walk

Local Walks, Shared Communty

Be part of the Center's 10th Anniversary Celebration by hosting a Woven Branches walk!

This fall, communities across the country will gather in October and November to experience connection, discovery, and awe in their own local landscapes.

Hosting is simple: fill out our quick form with your walk details, and we’ll add you to the Woven Branches map to help spread the word.

Registered guides will receive a special 10th Anniversary walk guide—created by Payton Hoegh—delivered to your inbox by October 15. Guides will also have the option to help raise funds toward our Giving to Grow campaign!

FAQs

Q. Do I need prior experience to lead a walk?
A. Not at all! Anyone can host a Woven Branches Walk. The guide we’ll send makes it easy, and the focus is simply on creating a space for connection and reflection.

Q. Does my walk have to be held on a certain day?

A. We would love for it to be held during October or November, while we are celebrating our anniversary, but the timing is flexible.

Q. What support will I receive from the Center?
A. We’ll provide the 10th Anniversary walk guide, add your walk to our Woven Branches map, and help spread the word. You’ll also be part of a nationwide community celebrating together.

Q. Can my walk also be a fundraiser?
A. Absolutely! Some hosts are inviting participants to support the Center’s Giving to Grow campaign as part of their walk. We’ll share an easy-to-use donation link in the guide.

Q. Where should I hold my walk?

A. Any quiet place that allows for interaction with nature can work. Parks, trails, church grounds, and backyards can all be wonderful places to gather.

Q. Can I join a walk if I don’t want to lead one?
A. Yes! Check our Woven Branches map to find a walk near you. We will keep adding walks as guides register.
