About the event

The times in which we are living can be frightening and anxiety-producing. The realities we are facing and their impacts can be overwhelming. What do we do with the feelings of loss, grief and uncertainty? How can we cope? Is there hope? And how can we muster the courage and strength to contribute? Together, we will explore how the natural world can offer specific guidance on how we can live resiliently in these times. The sycamore roots clinging to an eroding riverbank, an ant carrying many times her weight in food back to her nest, the chipmunk scurrying around to storehouse food for the upcoming winter,  all offer clues to how we can live, and give, in the midst of significant obstacles and challenges. We will also engage together in a spiritual practice designed to open us to what our elders in nature might have us learn about resilience.
