Join us for a special Church of the Wild along the banks of the Anacostia. We will draw inspiration from our urban, neighborhood river as we experience together the role water plays in connecting us with the Divine Mystery, our community and other creatures.

Join East Washington Heights Baptist Church and the Center for Spirituality in Nature for a special spiritual gathering along the Anacostia River!
There is something about water. It stills and comforts us, deepens us and challenges us. Not surprisingly, water plays an essential role in virtually all religious traditions in understanding the essence of our spirituality.
Join us for a special Church of the Wild along the banks of the Anacostia. We will draw inspiration from our urban, neighborhood river as we experience together the role water plays in connecting us with the Divine Mystery, our community and other creatures. And we will explore ways in which we can all contribute to the health of this local, sacred landscape.
