Je T'aime Taylor, Board Member
Je T’aime Taylor brings to the board a deep commitment to connecting spiritual leadership with the rhythms of the earth. As the Executive Director of Starting Early, she develops apprenticeship programs, builds coalitions, and equips early childhood educators across Missouri and Kansas to lead and advocate within community-centered systems. She also founded Common Ground Strategies, a consulting practice dedicated to servant leadership and collective impact, guiding mission-driven organizations toward sustainable transformation.
She is an active board member of the Kansas City Tomorrow Alumni Association (KCTAA), engaging with regional leaders to foster a more vibrant, inclusive future for Kansas City.
Je T’aime’s connection to nature is both personal and deeply rooted in practice. She tends garden beds, forages in local woodlands, and often retreats into nature to nurture her own spirit. These rhythms—paired with slow, soul-filled mornings—anchor her spiritual life and shape her understanding of stewardship, community, and care. She resonates with the Center’s mission to cultivate spiritual depth through land-based practices and holds deep gratitude for the sacred lessons nature continually offers.
Previously, Je T’aime served as Executive Director of Front Porch Alliance, where she amplified voices on Kansas City’s Eastside, addressing the root causes of injustice: housing insecurity, redlining, health disparities, and cultivating resilience through community-led systems change.
