Nora Marsh, Accountant

Nora Marsh is an accounting professional with over 35 years of experience, many of them with non-profits.  After getting her undergraduate degree in accounting from George Mason University, Nora went on to get her MBA at Santa Clara University in California. For the last several years, Nora has enjoyed being self employed supporting a variety of clients doing accounting and consulting.  In addition to living in the DC metro area for most of her life, Nora grew up overseas (Cyprus, Nigeria, and Japan) and also spent almost 15 years living and working in northern California.

A lifelong volunteer, she spent 10 years as a raft guide in California on the American rivers taking the public out on river day trips to promote river conservation. Currently, and for many years, she has been a volunteer treasurer and choir member of First Congregational United Church of Christ in Washington D.C.

Nora is a master gardener and enjoys getting her hands dirty as much as possible.  She is also a singer and percussionist with a local garage band and a weekly singing group with friends.  She is a knitter, does needlepoint, and loves to hike and kayak. She lives in north Arlington and also spends a lot of time in Vermont, where her family has a vacation home.
