PROGRAM/PILGRIMAGE LEADER, ECO-FARMER
Leah Rampy is a program leader for the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation in Washington, DC, where she previously served as executive director. Her passion is leading contemplative pilgrimages that invite listening to and aligning with earth’s rhythm. Leah also offers classes on nurturing transformative community for the newly launched Fox Institute for Creation Spirituality. Her prior careers have included teaching in public schools and universities, serving in leadership roles in Fortune 100 companies, and founding a consulting company to provide executive coaching and leadership development services.
Leah lives and works with her husband on Common Ground Habitat and Farm in the Shenandoah Valley of VA where they are committed to restoring native trees, nurturing pollinator areas, and supporting healing herbs and naturally occurring medicinals. They are also engaged in the creation of a cohousing community in Shepherdstown, WV. Leah is active in Interfaith Power and Light, Biodiversity for a Livable Climate, and in political action that protects land and water and reaffirms our oneness with all.
